They say good things come in three, right? Perhaps that’s why Young Adult trilogies have become a staple in reading repertoire in the last decade or two. And it’s no wonder. Stretching a story across three books allows us to getting to know the characters and world on a deeper level and experience multiple highs and lows in the rising action of the plot.
If you ask me, there are some trilogies that every fan of YA, or good storytelling, need to read. There might be some on here you recognize cause they were mega hits. Don’t roll your eyes. They were mega hits for a reason. If you’ve read them, read them again! Some you might not be familiar with and I’d encourage you to add them to your TBR list. These the best of the best (in my opinion). Whether you are an avid YA fan or new to the YA world, I hope you’ll find something to tickle your fancy.
The Hunger Games By Suzanne Collins
